Unexpected danger is the second book in the Skyline Trilogy. I knew immediately which scene I wanted to depict and what angle to draw. Yet again, I had to remind myself to keep it simple.

Initially, I had Jenna, the woman in the front even more in the shades of the trees (as she’s hiding from the attacker), but when put in line with the other book illustrations, I realised I had to give her more presence in the composition. Here’s the “old” version. What do you think, better or worse?
