This made my day!
Look, what went online: 25 Illustrated Ideas That Could Change Your Life.
I’m sitting here with a big smile on my face. And what a lovely community Darius Foroux has! It validates many of his great findings.

A new project in the commercial project section! And it’s about illustration for 6 beer labels. Can it get any better? Jump right to the Standing Spoon project page or read on to see more. Read more →
My better half wanted a C3PO pictogram for error notices on his Destiny Archive project. Why a picto, I am not sure. But the requirement was to have C3PO as svg. That meant, I couldn’t make it the same style as the hero banner Cad Bane, at least not with all this lovely texture detail. So, I tried to combine his picto wish with the textured look from Cad Bane. And keep it all vectors. Jump to see a bigger image. Read more →
Look, another one of my husband’s project ideas: Quify. It’s a short cut for “Quicker for you” and was developed as a tool to document his (work) productivity. The development is still in early stages, but the logo is done. To challenge myself, I tried to handletter the wordmark. Jump to see the process. Read more →
This is a quick banner illu for another of my husband’s side projects. The guy pictured in the image is Cad Bane, a character from Star Wars, holding a holocron, a device which stores phenomenal quantities of data. The site just went live as Beta: Destiny Archive. Have a look, there’s even a flash particle javascript added to the banner 🙂
I haven’t had a lot of time to work on this further but every once in a while I find a few minutes to make another illustration. Here is a quick preview of some characters for the kids book I am working on. Still raw and plain, texture, positioning and type not added yet. It’s going to be fun once I am ready to get into the details. Read more →
Another update on the commercial portfolio site: a logo development for Malin Dimech’s new business “Siblings”. I love working for start-ups, the energy and passion that goes into setting up a business is infectious. It makes me happy to be part of that initial spark. Head straight to the portfolio section: Siblings or simply jump to read on. Read more →
There’s an update on my commercial project page. Yes, you heard right. If the internet could collect dust and cobwebs, my portfolio pages would be chocker full with dust and hardly accessible, so old and neglected are they. Well, I’m in the process of cleaning up (ahem…) or should I better say: I am in the process of planning to cleaning it up? Let’s see how far I get and how long it’ll take to get some newer work examples in there. Here is the first: the logo development for Wholesome Tots.
Finally, a small update on the relic of a portfolio page of this site. I added a new personal project! Head straight over to the project “25 things” to see the full work or simply jump to get a small preview. Read more →
This has nothing to do with my work. The beautiful image on the wall is a print by Erik Marinovich. My husband gifted it to me for mother’s day. Last weekend, we finally came around to hang it up. The message, colours and the kick ass lettering make me so happy! I had to share this. A huge thank you to you, Peter!
