This feels like it’s crawling along with snail speed. But I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I thought I’d share a few of the rejected title lettering of the picture book I am working (occasionally) on.
What I like about the process is that the scribbles are all done non digital. There’s something about getting dirty and feeling the texture of paper and graphite/ink. At the same time, it’s nice to add textures, details, colours once you decided on a design and you’ve redrawn it digitally. Look, here are some of the title layouts:
